The Sàn-Art Residence, in Ho Chi Minh city, was the perfect place where I raisesfoster research strategies that seek the correspondences between landscapes and myths. A city bordered by rivers containing the image of a constant liquid flow, and therefore, the ideal place to perform a research around water, time and myth. My journey was the path to find the live image that surrounds a common origin and represented the river. This research was materialized in a sketchbook and a video. The drawing was the excuse to stop and observe the movement,surroundings, a way to become familiar with the context. And the video “The suspicion still exists” was an audiovisual essay that takes the river as a thread to tell the correspondences found between dragons and trees. Sinuous shapes that frame their relationship with the ancestors and compose the picture planted in the rite and the movement.
